Job Description:

We are looking for an energetic, people-focused leader to take ownership of our You Fit Leisure Club at Holiday Inn Portsmouth. As Leisure Club Manager, you will inspire your team, elevate member experience, and drive exceptional operational and commercial results. This role reports directly to the Hotel Manager and plays a central part in shaping the club’s culture, performance and reputation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring all Health & Safety, pool plant, and legislative requirements are fully met, with exceptional standards of hygiene and compliance
  • Delivering and managing company-approved fitness programmes, supporting behaviour change and driving Personal Training engagement
  • Reviewing daily, weekly and monthly financial performance and taking decisive action to maximise revenue and membership headcount
  • Driving new member sales through local outreach, innovative campaigns and exceptional engagement with prospects and current members
  • Managing pool plant operations proactively, maintaining best practice across pool and spa facilities in line with company SOPs

Requirements:

  • Pool Water Safety Qualification / Pool Responder
  • First Aid at Work
  • CIMSPA Fitness Professional (Level 2+)
  • Pool Plant Operator Qualification (Level 3)
  • Health & Fitness / Leisure Industry Qualification (Level 3+)
  • supervisory or managerial experience from the leisure, fitness, spa or wellness industry
