Leisure Club Assistant

• Supporting the delivery of a positive and engaging Health & Leisure Club experience by maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility
• Cleaning and sanitising gym equipment, changing rooms, poolside areas, studios and communal spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
• Ensuring all areas of the club are clean, tidy and welcoming at all times
• Completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules and safety checks in line with company standards
• Monitoring facility cleanliness and reporting any maintenance, safety or hygiene issues promptly
• Supporting member satisfaction by providing a friendly and helpful presence and assisting with general enquiries where appropriate
• Carrying out stock control of cleaning materials and consumables, ensuring supplies are replenished as required
• Following all health, safety and hygiene procedures, including safe chemical handling, poolside cleaning protocols and emergency procedures

• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within leisure, fitness or hospitality
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with members and guests
• A proactive, positive and can-do attitude
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good attention to detail, particularly around safety and cleanliness
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for health, fitness and guest wellbeing
• Recognised Pool Responder and First Aid certificates are an advantage
