Job Description:

Our Leisure Club Assistants support in providing a successful Health & Fitness offering to members and guests, promoting and supporting behavioural change in achieving fitness goals and the benefits of healthy living. The role reports directly to the Leisure Club Manager and is part of a team based from the Leisure Club in our attractive hotel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring the club is always presented in the appropriate condition ensuring the correct daily, weekly and monthly checks are being completed
  • Achieving new member sales, renewals and net membership growth metrics
  • Supporting the Club Management Team in relation to local marketing initiatives to drive New Member Sales, Membership Headcount and the Clubs position in the community
  • Always demonstrating a pro-active approach to Health & Safety and support the Club Management Team relating to the Sustainable Safety Group (SSG) audit
  • Undertaking cash handling duties and submitting to hotel finance

Requirements:

  • Pool Water Safety Qualification of Pool Responder
  • First Aid at Work Qualification
  • CIMSPA fitness professional qualification of Level 2 or above
  • Health & Fitness / Leisure Industry Qualification of Level 3 or above

Nice to have:

some experience in the leisure/fitness/spa wellness industry
