The radisson BLU Hotel, Athlone, part of The iNUA Collection is now looking for a highly motivated Leisure Centre Attendant to join our team. As a Leisure Centre Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a relaxing and enjoyable experience at our on-site facilities.
Job Responsibility:
Offer exceptional Standards of Service to customers at all times
Meet & Greet customers on arrival in a polite and professional manner
Instruct Members and customers on the safe & effective use of the Gym Equipment
Perform Health screening, Gym Inductions, provide Fitness programmes and teach Group Exercise Classes as and when required
Ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean & safe facility
Perform all cleaning tasks as and when required to ensure excellent standards of hygiene are maintained at all times and also complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules and keep records up to date
Complete chemical checks for the Pool & Jacuzzi when required as per the schedule – checks to include bacteria/ PH checks, complete Pool testing as and when required and adhere to the Pool plant schedule completing all tasks as and when required
Complete regular daily checks on the Steam Room and Sauna as per the requirements
Complete thorough walk throughs of the club during your shifting, ensuring standards are being maintained and cleaning completed as per the schedule
Reports any necessary repairs to engineering using maintenance request process
Maintain a Safe operating environment at all times for customers by completing the necessary H&S checks and reporting any issues to your line Manager
Maintains current heart and lung rescuing license and updated knowledge
Maintain a Basic First Aid Qualification
Complete regular maintenance checks on the Gym equipment, reporting any issues to your line Manager
Take a proactive approach to generating new business for the club including generating new leads, completing sales calls, completing tours of the club to all potential customers and selling members as per the KPI’s set out by the Leisure Centre Manager
Take a proactive approach to member retention for the club by completing the Member CRM process as outlined by the Leisure Centre Manager
Take a proactive approach to generating revenue by upselling products and service to all customers
Supervises retailing activities including purchasing and receiving safeguards
Order’s amenities and necessary supplies for the Leisure Centre as directed by the Leisure centre Manager
Complete Cashing up process as required and prepare any necessary reported as directed by the LCM
