Job Description:

Haringey has now brought its leisure centres back in-house and is reshaping the service around a broader wellbeing offer. This is a pivotal moment to help shape a newly insourced leisure service, embed its delivery, and lead its ongoing development.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for two flagship sites with swimming pools — including the iconic Park Road Lido and New River Sports Centre — as well as a smaller community gym
Play a crucial role in service delivery
Act as the main point of contact for all General Managers and wider staff teams
Lead delivery of inclusive, accessible services that meet the diverse needs of residents
Lead and develop operational team to ensure the newly integrated service continues to meet the needs of residents through excellent customer care and well-managed facilities
Inspire a culture of excellent customer services
Create centres that are inclusive and welcoming

Requirements:

Proven track record in the leisure industry
Ability to lead and motivate a large operational workforce across multiple sites
Ability to work with and influence a wide range of people and partners to get things done
Ensure compliance with health and safety
