Job Description:

An internship opportunity in the Dispute Resolution team. The trainee will be fully integrated into the team and involved in matters under the supervision of the lawyers. The team deals with a variety of topics such as civil liability, leases, banking law, business transfers, shareholder disputes, restructurings and dismissals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conducting legal and documentary research
  • Participating in the review and analysis of cases
  • Assisting with the drafting of legal documents
  • Participating in client relations
  • Attending court hearings
  • May be required to work with other departments of the firm on cross-departmental matters

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a lawyers’ training program (PPI) or hold a postgraduate degree in judicial careers or in business/commercial law (such as a Master’s degree, a DJCE, or a degree from a business school)
  • Interest in Luxembourg contract law, commercial and corporate law, labour law and real estate law
  • French and English language skills are essential (written and spoken)
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Open-minded, autonomous, flexible and able to work in an active and well-organised manner in a dynamic and demanding environment
