Job Description:

A leading, international law firm is looking to hire a senior legal technologist on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. Based in Manchester, the main purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of innovative and complex automation solutions for clients whilst supervising and mentoring other team members.

Job Responsibility:

  • Building and maintaining automated products
  • Providing support in the creation of new document automation solutions
  • Delivering drafting related projects across the business
  • Identifying opportunities for system upgrades and improvements
  • Establishing and delivering training sessions to colleagues
  • Recognising opportunities where automation and AI could assist with supporting clients
  • Providing expertise for analysis and data gathering within documents
  • Providing regular feedback to team members
  • Lead the delivery of innovative and complex automation solutions for clients
  • Supervising and mentoring other team members

Requirements:

  • Strong experience delivering legal technology projects
  • A strong understanding of legal tech software and tools such as HighQ and Contract Express
  • Experience configuring automation tools
  • A good understanding of tools that assist with drafting including AI and PowerBI
  • Able to work to tight deadlines with a sense of urgency
  • A passion for innovation and understanding of how legal work is delivered
  • Experience of managing multiple projects
  • Possess the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
  • A creative thinker who is both positive and solutions oriented
