Barclay’s Legal is targeting a material Technology transformation, with an aim of unifying fragmented systems and processes into a streamlined, integrated estate. This is essential for supporting the Legal function’s goals of enhancing client and colleague experience, improving compliance, and delivering operational cost efficiency. The scale and complexity of the current and projected book of work demands effective Legal Technology Change Delivery PM to play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, focusing on data analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder communication. Contributing on change projects that help the organization achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that activities are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive project delivery: Oversee execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring milestones are met and benefits realized
  • Resolve delivery challenges: Address issues that have previously delayed in-scope work, minimizing bottlenecks and accelerating progress
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and document clear & detailed business requirements
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and strategies
  • Work with the Process Lead & the Legal service teams to develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states, identifying areas for improvement
  • Propose and design technical and process solutions that align with business objectives and enhance efficiency
  • Implementation Support: Work with Functions Technology and other departments to implement solutions, ensuring they meet business goals and requirements
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and executives effectively
  • Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to ensure they meet business needs

Requirements:

  • PM/change delivery experience within Financial Services or a similar highly regulated environment
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends to support decision-making
  • Organizational and prioritization skills to manage mixed role and workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions to improve business processes
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

Nice to have:

  • Experienced PM with evidence of end-to-end delivery experience and change embedment
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) and business process modeling tools
  • Familiarity with legal tech platforms and the Legal Tech market
  • Experience in a legal operations, legal technology, or innovation role within a law firm or in-house legal team
  • Project Management certification (desirable)
