Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Family Law department
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and organise meetings efficiently
Prepare case files and ensure all documentation is up to date
Handle incoming calls and emails with professionalism and confidentiality
Maintain accurate client records and manage filing systems effectively
Assist in billing processes and track expenses as required
Support the team in meeting deadlines and maintaining high service standards
Requirements:
Previous experience in a secretarial role within a legal or professional services environment
Strong knowledge of Family Law procedures and terminology
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Proficiency in relevant software and IT systems
Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
