We are offering a short-term, part-time contract opportunity for a Legal Secretary. This role involves handling documents, correspondence, scheduling, and maintaining confidential records.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately transcribe dictations
Proofread and edit legal documents, ensuring correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Handle and manage electronic and physical legal files
Take charge of scanning, photocopying, and indexing legal paperwork as required
Oversee correspondence, emails, and other communications for attorneys
Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates
Maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive legal information
Requirements:
Possession of a minimum of 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary
Proficient in Calendar Management
Advanced skills in creating and editing Word Documents
Experience in Scanning Documents
Demonstrable ability in Transcription
Understanding of Basic Grammar
Strong command over Proper Grammar
Familiarity with handling Legal Files
