We are looking for a skilled Legal Secretary to join a well-established law firm in Los Angeles, California. Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support to 4-5 attorneys, ensuring workloads are balanced and manageable
Handle complex document production tasks, including drafting pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence
Create Tables of Authorities (TOAs) and Tables of Contents (TOCs) for legal documents
Manage both traditional and electronic filing systems to maintain organization and accessibility
Oversee attorney calendars, tracking deadlines and appearances to ensure smooth scheduling
Prepare Trial Memorandums and coordinate deadlines for court appearances
Schedule depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings efficiently
Collaborate with attorneys and team members to support case management and documentation needs
Requirements:
Proficiency in e-Filing and electronic court filing systems
Experience with managing complex calendars and scheduling
Strong skills in document production, including dictation and formatting
Familiarity with trial preparation and legal correspondence
Ability to create detailed Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents
Knowledge of legal procedures and filing requirements
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Prior experience in a legal secretary or assistant role is highly desirable
