Job Responsibility:
Draft pleadings, complaints, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents
File documents efficiently in California state courts and federal courts using PACER
Manage attorneys’ calendars, deadlines, and case-related tasks
Organize, maintain, and update case files (both electronic and physical)
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Assist with trial preparation and support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation
Requirements:
2-3+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal in litigation
Strong skills drafting discovery responses, complaints, and legal pleadings
Proficient with California state court filing procedures and electronic filing in federal courts via PACER
Knowledge of legal terminology, processes, and document management systems
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Paralegal certificate preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered
