Job Description

Our Cherry Hill based law firm client is seeking a skilled Legal Research & Writing Attorney to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who excels in legal analysis and persuasive writing but prefers to work behind the scenes rather than in the courtroom. As part of a dynamic personal injury firm, you will contribute to impactful cases and support litigation strategies through comprehensive research and exceptional written advocacy.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct detailed legal research on various personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and catastrophic injury claims
  • Draft and edit legal documents such as motions, oppositions, memoranda, and appellate briefs
  • Evaluate case law, deposition transcripts, and expert reports to strengthen case arguments
  • Develop written materials to support mediation, arbitration, and trial strategies
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys to maintain consistency in tone, quality, and strategic approach across all legal filings

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law in New Jersey
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal research, writing, and analysis
  • Proficiency in Pennsylvania pleadings, filings, and procedures is preferred
  • Outstanding writing, research, and analytical abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
  • Familiarity with arbitration and deposition processes
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality legal documents

Nice to have

Pennsylvania license is a plus
