Previous experience in Trusts & Estates, Probate, or Elder Law is strongly preferred
Knowledge of MassHealth applications or estate administration processes is a plus
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate empathetically with clients
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with legal practice management software

Job Responsibility

Handle incoming calls, manage attorney schedules, and coordinate appointments efficiently
Welcome clients warmly, gather intake information, and ensure a well-managed front office experience
Organize mail, scan and file documents, and maintain both electronic and physical records
Assist attorneys with drafting and filing probate court documents, including petitions, notices, and inventories
Support estate administration by collecting asset details, liaising with financial institutions, and organizing relevant documentation
Prepare drafts for estate planning documents, such as wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare proxies, as directed
Monitor deadlines for probate filings, client follow-ups, and estate-related milestones
Facilitate MassHealth applications by gathering necessary documentation and communicating with caseworkers and agencies
Provide assistance with long-term care applications, ensuring all required verifications and documents are organized
Maintain clear communication with third-party providers, ensuring thorough and respectful interactions
