A small, well‑established law firm in San Jose is seeking an Entry‑Level Legal Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join their team. This full‑time, onsite role is ideal for someone who is reliable, organized, and eager to begin a career in the legal field. The position provides exposure to daily law firm operations while supporting attorneys and staff with essential front‑office and administrative functions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet visitors, answer and direct incoming calls, and serve as the firm’s first point of contact
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate physical and digital files
  • Retrieve, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Prepare daily bank deposits
  • Assist with invoice preparation and vendor communication
  • Order and maintain office supplies and manage stock levels
  • Support general office administration and assist with additional projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • General office/administrative experience (internships or school experience acceptable for entry‑level)
  • Comfortable working in a Mac computer environment
