Demonstrate expertise in legal technology tools, process improvement, and operational management
Have strong leadership and mentoring skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including cultural awareness, and empathy (work with international teams and projects, is a plus)
Be professionally fluent in English. Another language is a plus (in particular German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Arabic, or Korean)

Job Responsibility

Lead the Legal Operations function, driving initiatives to improve operational and cost efficiency
Oversee the legal tech, knowledge management, case support and documentation and administrative functions within the team
Lead initiatives related to contract lifecycle management, matter management, and compliance tracking
Create and monitor department budgets, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities
Manage a team of paralegals and legal operations staff, including assigning tasks, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews
Serve as a key liaison between the legal department and other business functions, ensuring alignment with company goals
Coordinate training and professional development for the Legal Operations team.

Assist with creating and maintaining company-wide policies and templates of routine documents and agreements, and assist with corresponding training initiatives
Review and comment on contracts, including master services agreements, consulting agreements, work orders, contract amendments, non-disclosure agreements, and vendor contracts
Manage tracking of key contracts and related terms, including non-standard contract provisions for easy access
Oversee contract lifecycle management system, developing, populating, and managing the legal contract database
Perform due diligence for M&A transactions with team of functional leaders
Manage claims process and litigation tracking, including related document management
Maintain company permits, including general contractor and environmental permits
Assist with researching legal topics on an as-needed basis, including employment matters.
