Job Description:

The Legal Operations Manager will be a strategic leader responsible for driving operational efficiency, implementing scalable processes, and aligning the legal department’s operations with broader business objectives. This role involves overseeing the range of functions performed by the Legal Operations team and managing team members.

Job Responsibility:

lead the Legal Operations function
oversee legal tech, knowledge management, case support, documentation, and administrative functions
lead initiatives related to contract lifecycle management, matter management, and compliance tracking
create and monitor department budgets
manage a team of paralegals and legal operations staff
serve as a key liaison between the legal department and other business functions
coordinate training and professional development for the Legal Operations team

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in legal operations or a similar role
expertise in legal technology tools, process improvement, and operational management
strong leadership and mentoring skills
excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
professionally fluent in English
another language is a plus (German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Arabic, or Korean)
interests and skills beyond the usual (e.g., coding, development, API integrations)

Nice to have:

interest in or experience with coding, development and API integrations
another language (German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Arabic, or Korean)
