Job Description

A Minneapolis-based private investment firm is seeking a Legal Operations Analyst to support its in-house legal function and related business teams. This role focuses on corporate governance, entity management, and legal operations infrastructure within a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment. The ideal candidate brings strong process discipline, excellent attention to detail, and experience supporting investment or financial services platforms.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the formation, maintenance, and governance of U.S. and international legal entities
  • Serve as owner of entity management processes, including records, filings, organizational data, and structure charts
  • Maintain corporate governance materials such as board calendars, consents, appointments, ownership records, and related documentation
  • Track and oversee recurring legal obligations, deadlines, and deliverables across the organization
  • Coordinate NDA workflows, including intake, execution, and records management
  • Develop, standardize, and improve legal workflows, templates, and documentation practices
  • Support outside counsel management, including invoice review, budget tracking, and spend monitoring
  • Assist with technology-enabled legal operations tools and process improvements
  • Provide transactional support for deal closings and investor-related matters, including document execution and file management
  • Support regulatory filings, compliance-related requests, and AML/KYC inquiries
  • Contribute to special projects and operational initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in legal operations, fund paralegal work, or a similar role within a law firm, asset manager, or financial services organization
  • Working knowledge of fund structures, investor processes, and subscription workflows
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical, solutions-focused approach
