We are seeking a strategic Legal Manager to serve as our primary advocate and guardian in civil and/or commercial litigation. This is a pivotal role where you will not only manage dispute resolution from end-to-end but also act as a key advisor to our internal stakeholders. You will bridge the gap between complex legal risks and practical business needs, ensuring that every strategy—from drafting airtight contracts to vetting legal documents—is designed to safeguard the company’s long-term interests.

Requirements

  • Professional Credentials: An LLB holder admitted to the Malaysian Bar with 7–10 years of experience, specifically within civil litigation and commercial disputes
  • Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of civil procedure and contract law, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight court or regulatory timelines
  • Versatile Expertise: While a strong background in a law firm is essential, we highly value the commercial 'lens' that comes with prior in-house experience
  • Analytical Edge: Exceptional skills in drafting, negotiation, and risk mitigation to ensure optimal outcomes in every dispute
  • Language proficiency: English, Bahasa Melayu
