Job Description:

Our client is an top tier Property Developer seeking a Legal Manager to join their Tenancy/ Leasing division.

Job Responsibility:

Legal Management: Oversee daily tenancy legal issues, including reviewing contract terms, handling lease evaluations, resolving tenancy disputes, etc.
Legal Advisory Recommendations: Advise the department head on suitable legal measures for tenant debt recovery and represent the organisation in legal proceedings at the District and High Courts
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Legal, Audit, and Finance & Accounts Departments to ensure compliance of leasing matters
Policy Compliance: Ensure that all leasing policies and procedures are followed in accordance with company standards

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in law or related fields
3+ years of professional legal experience in property or real estate industry
Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Landlord and Tenant Ordinance and Deed of Mutual Covenant
fluent in English and Cantonese
