Airbnb is seeking Legal Interns for our 2026 Summer Intern Program from June 1, 2026 - August 21, 2026. The Legal team at Airbnb embodies the company’s innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. We are looking for first-year law students that are excited to learn new skills and take on challenges with integrity and curiosity as they learn about the practical dimensions of practicing law in-house. As an intern, you’ll be integrated into a team where you’ll contribute to challenging projects. You will work with members of the legal team, including other interns, and folks from across the organization to support a variety of legal functions, which may include: Intellectual Property, Corporate, Commercial, Marketing, Product, Privacy, Payments, Litigation, Regulatory/Policy, Insurance, and Employment.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with team members to achieve project milestones
Complete projects crossing different areas of law, balancing priorities and deadlines, including a final project that you’ll share with the full legal team
Communicate with the legal team and other stakeholders to provide project updates and share your work
Proactively seek and provide feedback throughout the internship
Actively participate in and contribute to the legal and broader Airbnb community, like pro bono efforts
Requirements:
First-year law student (Juris Doctorate) enrolled full-time at a nationally-accredited law school
Strong interest in learning about in-house legal practice and about multiple practice areas
Great verbal and written communication skills and interest in honing new communication skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Adaptable and able to adjust plans and manage changes effectively
Strong interpersonal skills and interest in initiating and building relationships and collaborating with teams within and outside of Legal
Passion for the Airbnb mission
Work authorization for employment in the United States is required (CPT/OPT is accepted)
