Job Description

We are looking for a Legal & Finance Associate to support our growing innovation and venture activities. As a venture house, we bring two decades of experience in venture capital fund creation and management, early-stage investing, and portfolio management. Born out of DTU, the Technical University of Denmark, we operate at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and capital. In this role, you can expect to work alongside our General Counsel and our CFO, directly supporting our funds and investment vehicles and their portfolio companies. You will contribute to the development and optimisation of our legal and finance processes and procedures, streamlining our financial, regulatory, and legal services for our funds.

Job Responsibility

  • Contribute to the digital transformation of legal and financial workstreams, including AI-related initiatives
  • Support on investment-related matters, including reviewing term sheets and transaction documents, assisting with legal and financial due diligence, and preparing internal documentation
  • Assist with fund formation, financial, regulatory, and compliance matters
  • Support our portfolio companies on various legal and financial matters, including IP, employment law, and data protection (GDPR)
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Prepare financial reports, analyses, and management information
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance follow-up
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors

Requirements

  • You have recently graduated with a cand.merc.(jur.) degree
  • You are structured, detail-oriented and have an analytical mindset
  • You know how to build trust and strong relationships
  • You have solid interpersonal skills which make you a natural collaborator with a positive and flexible attitude
  • You communicate confidently in both English and Danish, written and spoken
