Job Description:

A strategic position reporting locally to Regulatory Reporting department leads within the Budapest Finance CSC, focused on providing Analytical and Assurance support to Countries/Clusters/Regional Finance and executing Core Financial Reporting Processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Material Legal Entity (MLE) analysis and communication to the Country/Cluster/Regional Controllers of actual variances on the Legal Entity and Management level financial results
  • Owns the primary controls over the accuracy integrity of the main GB Banking, and/or broker dealer entities' actual results
  • Execute analysis of respective MLEs at consolidated & Legal Entities level using Standard & Non-Standard Reports
  • Participate in the Country Close (Pre, Month End, Post Close Calls across stakeholder groups)
  • Interacts with Financial Planning & Analysis/Product Control Group/Control lead/Reporting lead etc at Country/Cluster level as part of the closing process
  • Approve US/local/IFRS GAAP adjustment requests for ledger booking
  • Point of contact for Country / Business significant issues

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Financial Services Industry experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
  • Ability to work with multiple functions
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Great communication skills
