Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Patent Attorney to create practical guidance content, including practice notes, checklists, forms, and legal analysis focused on patent law. Strong patent litigation experience is required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop clear, practitioner-focused patent law content
  • Conduct legal research and ensure accuracy
  • Manage multiple writing projects and meet deadlines
  • Incorporate editorial feedback

Requirements:

  • J.D. and active U.S. bar admission
  • 5+ years patent litigation experience in federal district court
  • Excellent legal writing and research skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and online research tools
  • Drafting pleadings/briefs
  • Discovery (requests, experts, depositions, motions)
  • Pre‑/post‑trial motions (e.g., summary judgment, injunctions, JMOL)

Nice to have:

  • CAFC or PTAB practice
