Job Description

An AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking two Legal Document Clerks for a strictly temporary project, starting at six months, focused on high-volume document downloading and electronic file organization. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or candidates early in their legal career looking to gain experience in a professional law-firm environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Download, save, and organize large volumes of legal documents according to firm standards
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency across document naming conventions and file structures
  • Perform basic quality checks to ensure documents are correctly captured and stored
  • Communicate updates or issues to supervising staff as needed
  • Follow confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive case files

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clear, structured instructions
  • Comfort with repetitive tasks and managing high-volume workflows
  • Basic technical skills, including downloading/saving files and navigating shared drives
  • Access to a personal computer and reliable internet connection (must have a PC
  • Macs are not compatible)
  • Ability to work standard business hours in the Pacific Time Zone

Prior administrative or legal experience is helpful but not required
