Job Responsibility:
Leading legal governance for domestic offices and overseas subsidiaries
Developing and implementing risk management strategies aligned with business objectives
Leading negotiations for major contracts and managing litigation, including intellectual property matters
Overseeing contract reviews and ensuring compliance
Establishing and operating compliance programs and education initiatives
Handling legal matters related to business development, such as M&A and licensing transactions
Managing litigation, dispute resolution, internal and external investigations, and collaborating with external counsel
Mentoring and managing a team of two managers
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 years of in-house legal experience
At least 3 years of experience in international legal affairs
Strong legal acumen and the ability to handle diverse legal matters
Proven experience in managing and mentoring subordinates
Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 800 or equivalent)
Nice to have:
Legal experience within the manufacturing industry
Attorney qualification (Japan or foreign)
Proficiency in Chinese or Dutch
