Job Description:

Join the Group Legal – Corporate and Investments team at Ingka Group, the largest IKEA franchisee, as a Legal Counsel. Based in Leiden, Netherlands, this role involves providing legal advice, managing corporate matters, and collaborating with a diverse team in an international environment.

Job Responsibility:

Work at a purpose-driven and global leading retail organisation with an ambitious growth and sustainability strategy
hold a global head office position in an international work environment
work closely with global legal, tax, finance, and investment teams
handle a wide variation of corporate matters including corporate governance, corporate restructuring, investments, and corporate housekeeping
manage and draft a wide range of intra-group agreements
provide commercial, strategic, and solution-driven legal advice on various projects
network and build strong relationships with stakeholders and external counsels
secure legal compliance and track regulations and industry practices

Requirements:

Experience in Corporate Law, including drafting agreements, gained through 4 to 7 years working experience in a reputable law firm
fluency in English (verbally and in writing) with excellent interpersonal skills
ability to communicate and negotiate at all organisational levels
accuracy and solution-driven approach with sound judgment and understanding of strategic business needs
proactive and down-to-earth approach with a ‘get the job done’ mentality
team player, who can also work independently
openness to occasional travel
alignment with IKEA values
