Job Description:

Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its operations in Malaysia while also providing regional oversight. The role involves delivering legal expertise in corporate and commercial matters, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mitigating legal risks for the company.

Requirements:

Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various contracts, agreements, and legal documents
Provide strategic legal advice on operational and regulatory matters to management
Liaise with external legal advisors on corporate transactions, litigation, arbitration, and compliance investigations
Support high-value tender processes and corporate decision-making activities
Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards
LLB or equivalent legal qualification
3+ years of experience in corporate/commercial law, preferably in the manufacturing, industrial, or construction-related sectors
