Job Description:

Position focusing on supporting US content production teams, advising across a wide range of legal issues to ensure compliance and smooth event execution. Embedded in the Legal Department, the role involves working with Originals teams on diverse legal matters, with a focus on intellectual property licensing, privacy, and regulatory issues in the US, leveraging expertise across jurisdictions.

Job Responsibility:

Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on agreements across content development, event production, distribution, marketing, sponsorship, and talent engagements
support business and production teams by identifying legal risks and designing mitigation strategies
conduct legal research and deliver actionable guidance
manage legal projects and oversee contract workflows
assist with internal compliance in matters such as intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory issues
support incident management and dispute resolution efforts
prepare internal templates, guides, and documents
deliver training and presentations on legal matters

Requirements:

Qualified US barred lawyer with 5+ years post-qualification experience in-house in experience-economy and/or technology-first companies
solution-oriented and strategic thinker with strong business judgment
strong legal drafting skills
native or bilingual English
ability to take ownership and prioritize resources for multiple time-sensitive projects
effective communicator with emotional intelligence
self-motivated and adaptable team player
