We are seeking a Legal Counsel to support the Vodafone Procurement Company (VP&C) in Luxembourg, working within the VP&C Legal sub-team. This role focuses on providing practical, business-oriented legal advice across procurement, resale, commercial operations, and sales activities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with commercial teams and Group Legal stakeholders, contributing to contract development, risk management, and compliance in a dynamic international environment.
Job Responsibility
Provide legal advice and support on contracts and legal documentation within procurement and sales activities
Draft, review, structure, negotiate, and interpret a wide range of commercial contracts
Deliver timely, accurate, and pragmatic legal guidance aligned with business needs
Identify, assess, and communicate legal and commercial risks to stakeholders
Support compliance programmes including anti-bribery, sanctions, competition law, and data privacy
Develop legal tools, templates, guidance materials, and training to support business self-service
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Group Legal, Finance, Regulatory, Operations, and local market teams
Engage with areas such as intellectual property, tax, data protection, and regulatory matters to support business activities
Requirements
Qualified law graduate with strong academic credentials
Bar qualification is advantageous
Sound knowledge of contract law and commercial contracting
Familiarity with English law is preferred
Fluent in English
Proven experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts in English
Experience working in an international, multicultural environment
Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced setting
Typically 3–5 years of relevant post-graduate experience
Exposure to an international law firm or a multinational technology company is beneficial
