Work with Storyblok’s dynamic legal team and support Storyblok in growing internationally playing a vital role in our day-to-day operations in the AMER region. Your responsibilities include advising on U.S. corporate, privacy, employment and labor law, leading SaaS contract negotiations, and supporting product and cybersecurity compliance initiatives. You will manage legal projects independently, guide business teams, and collaborate with external counsel as needed. While focused on the AMER region, you will also support legal initiatives in EMEA and APAC, contributing to global policies and aligning legal processes across regions. Additionally, you will provide legal training, empower team members to manage day-to-day legal tasks, and support the legal leadership in executing strategic priorities and continuous improvement efforts.
Job Responsibility:
Draft, redline, negotiate, and review SaaS enterprise sales contracts including MSA, GTC/ToS, NDA, DPA, and other legal agreements
Advise on legal principles relating to data privacy, IP, information security, and corporate risk mitigation
Review and negotiate partnership agreements with our partners in AMER
Assist with review and negotiation of procurement and marketing contracts as needed
Be part of HR related projects & provide support for certain U.S. employment and labor law topics
Support in providing legal advice on new product initiatives that may be subject to U.S. regulation
Support the legal team in providing training to different teams
Support the legal team to build and maintain documentation for the whole team
Assist the legal team with different administrative tasks and projects
Provide accurate and concise legal research for topics requested from the team
Be an active part in our yearly legal review and legal improvement process
Requirements:
Law Degree and Bar Admission to at least one jurisdiction in the U.S.
1-3 years of experience in reviewing and redlining contracts
Prior negotiation experience with complex corporate agreements
Strong understanding of commercial contracting and legal processes
Broad and in-depth specialized knowledge of AMER legal framework
Excellent English language skills
Great legal research, redlining, negotiation and communication skills
Skilled in providing concise legal advice to business teams
Ability to analyze the needs of different parties quickly and provide a creative solution
Reliable and accurate working style with attention to detail and ability to work independently
Understands complex legal and business processes
High motivation to build a project from scratch, rethink, and rework existing processes
Good organizational skills & well structured to manage multiple priorities
Acts like an owner in the workplace —proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented
Overcomes challenges through teamwork, optimism, and just enough humor
Nice to have:
SaaS or fast-paced tech experience providing support in-house to enterprise sales teams would be an asset
Some knowledge of EMEA and APAC topics would be preferred
