Job Responsibility:

  • Review and negotiate NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, amendments, procurement/vendor agreements and professional services contracts
  • Serve as primary legal support for the French sales team (pre-sales, renewals, amendments)
  • Triage incoming legal requests and meet SLA targets for turnaround times
  • Coordinate with the Legal Director on escalations: complex IP clauses, regulatory issues and litigation
  • Support procurement / vendor onboarding (negotiations, risk assessments, approvals)
  • Keep accurate contract records in CLM/CRM and assist with contract reporting
  • Liaise with Finance on billing, invoicing clauses, and approval workflows
  • Work with outside counsel as needed and manage matter budgets for routine matters
  • Provide ad hoc compliance support (data protection basics, local contract formalities)

Requirements:

  • Law Master’s Degree with 3–5 years’ post-degree experience (law firm or in-house) with at least 1 year working with commercial/technology contracts
  • Fluent in French and English (written & spoken) and able to negotiate in both languages
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • comfortable with SaaS / IT commercial terms
  • Practical commercial judgment and ability to work independently under Legal Director supervision
  • Experience with contract tools (DocuSign, Procurement management systems, Salesforce)

Nice to have:

  • Admission to the French bar (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience with intellectual property law, data protection (GDPR), and subscription billing terms
  • Prior in-house experience in a scale-up / tech company
  • Prior experience working in a cross-border environment
