MTC has a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified Lawyer/Contracts Manager to join our dynamic Legal team as Legal Counsel. Reporting into the Senior Legal Counsel – Defence, you’ll have the opportunity to support our growing defence business in a role offering variety, development and an opportunity to make an impact within an organisation that sits at the forefront of UK innovation, technology and skills development. As Legal Counsel, you’ll play a key role in providing accurate, pragmatic legal advice across the defence business. Your work will focus primarily on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners, while influencing internal stakeholders to support strong, compliant decision‑making. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple business units, helping shape outcomes that protect and advance MTC’s interests.
