We are seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative Legal Counsel to support the Vodafone Procurement Company (VP&C) in Luxembourg. The individual will work as part of the VP&C legal sub-team, focusing on Commercial Services, Corporate Services and Property procurement categories. This role provides day‑to‑day legal support to commercial category managers, including drafting and negotiating procurement agreements, addressing intra‑Group matters, and working closely with Group Legal teams.
Job Responsibility:
Provide legal advice and support for contracts and related documents across the Responsible Areas
Review, draft, structure, and negotiate procurement contracts while balancing commercial and legal considerations
Recommend pragmatic solutions to complex legal issues and highlight relevant risks to stakeholders
Contribute to compliance programmes, including anti‑bribery, sanctions, competition law, and data privacy
Develop tools, best practices, training materials, templates and playbooks to strengthen legal self‑service capabilities across the business
Collaborate effectively with local market legal teams and other key stakeholders across Group Legal, External Affairs, Finance, and VP&C operations
Work with specialist functions including IPR, Data Protection, Tax, Finance, Regulatory and Enterprise teams to address cross‑functional legal matters
Requirements:
Possess strong academic credentials with a law degree from a reputable university
a Master’s degree in law is desirable
Bring 3–5 years of relevant post‑graduate experience
Have proven expertise in contract law and experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in English
Hold (or are working towards) a bar qualification (preferred)
Ideally have exposure to international practice, either through an international law firm or a multinational organisation
Are fluent in English and comfortable working within a cross‑border, multicultural environment
