We have development centers in Poland and Lithuania, and representatives in the US. We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our growing international team. In this role, you will support the business across multiple jurisdictions, working on contracts, corporate matters, and internal legal questions. This position is ideal for a lawyer who wants to grow together with the company and be close to business processes.
Job Responsibility:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, primarily software development agreements, IT services agreements, license agreements, and NDAs within different jurisdictions
Provide legal support on corporate matters for companies within the group
Support HR and Recruitment teams on workforce-related matters
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR)
Provide legal advice to management and business teams on employment, tax, IP, and corporate matters, taking into account business goals and risk tolerance
Provide legal support to the business on debt recovery and collection matters
Requirements:
Higher legal education (Law degree)
At least 3 years of experience in an IT company or an international law firm
Experience working with international jurisdictions (USA, EU), including support of cross-border transactions, drafting and negotiation of international agreements
Background in corporate law, strong legal drafting skills, and basic knowledge of intellectual property, labor, and tax law
Business-oriented mindset with the ability to understand business goals and assess legal risks in line with commercial priorities and timelines
Strong command of Russian and English languages (at least B2 level)
Nice to have:
Conversational Polish (B1 level or higher)
Knowledge of Polish law
