Job Description:

Join Corsearch as Legal Counsel: draft and negotiate commercial agreements, advise sales and product teams, and help shape compliant processes in a fast, remote SaaS setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including service agreements, software licenses, SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs and partnership agreements
  • Provide practical concise legal advice on commercial and contractual matters to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and operations teams to develop and implement contract templates and processes to reduce legal risks and ensure compliance
  • Support the legal team in maintaining and updating internal policies and procedures
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance with matters relating to IP and litigation with supervision
  • Stay informed about legal and regulatory developments relevant to the industry and provide proactive recommendations to ensure compliance
  • Support the legal team in various ad-hoc legal projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements:

  • Qualified legal professional with at least 2 years of experience in handling commercial contracts, preferably within a tech or SaaS company
  • Commercially focussed problem solver with experience of working with sales and procurement teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear, concise and persuasive manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proactive can-do attitude, self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment
  • Comfortable advising on employment law across multiple jurisdictions
