Job Description

As Legal Counsel you will support Fever’s operations worldwide, with an emphasis on Nordic countries, reporting directly to the Lead Counsel, this role requires proactivity, autonomy, and drive. You will be involved in day-to-day legal support, advising on corporate and operationally relevant matters to support the growth of the company. You will draft and support the negotiation of commercial agreements together with commercial teams, enabling exciting productions and partnerships, all within a fast-paced company undergoing an ambitious regional expansion.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide general legal support by adapting company legal strategy to regional business needs in the Nordics
  • Work with internal and external SMEs to provide corporate, commercial, compliance and litigation and disputes support to the region
  • Stay up to date on relevant legislative and jurisprudence developments in the region
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to prioritise and manage complex legal matters
  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, terms and conditions in multiple jurisdictions
  • Contribute to company knowledge and documents, including the preparation and revision of templates and legal guides
  • Prioritise your work based on company strategy and objectives
  • Upskilling, support, and growth of other team members

Requirements

  • Be a barred / practising European lawyer with 4+ years of PQE working in one or more Nordic jurisdictions
  • Have experience working in top tier law firms, or inhouse experience at a large-scale multinational
  • Speak fluent English, as well as French or German, with an additional language, a strong plus
  • Have a keen eye for strategy and business, with an ability to translate complex legal issues into business outcomes and opportunities
  • Possess strong technical skills
  • Be an effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work
