Job Description

This role involves supporting the integration of the Vodafone UK and Three UK networks to build the Nation’s Network. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality legal advice on a range of initiatives, manage legal risk and ensure compliance with evolving legislation. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners is crucial, as is driving continuous improvement in legal processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver high-quality, pragmatic and solution-oriented legal advice across a range of initiatives, including commercial contracts and other commercial arrangements relating to network infrastructure and network sites
  • Support delivery of VodafoneThree’s strategy for network integration and network deployment and enhancement
  • Support compliance with relevant legislation and regulation, safeguarding commercial integrity
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders across Networks and other functions
  • Support legal risk assessment across the strategic priorities
  • Work with robust assurance frameworks to mitigate exposure to regulatory, financial and reputational risks
  • Contribute to legal training and guidance for the business, streamline processes and promote automation
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders including external counsel and commercial counterparties
  • Monitor regulatory and legislative developments, share insights and identify opportunities for team learning and positive change

Requirements

  • High quality experience as a qualified commercial lawyer
  • telecoms sector and network experience is highly desirable
  • Proactively manages legal risk, balancing risk and mitigations proportionately
  • Able to apply sound commercial judgement to balance legal risk with business opportunity
  • Possess effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Applies legal analysis and data to problems, to extract critical insights and shape pragmatic solutions
