Microsoft France's Legal Affairs team is responsible for supporting public sector transactions, legal and regulatory matters, reviewing new business models, removing legal blockers and supporting the business in accelerating consumption of Microsoft services, AI in particular, evangelizing the use of AI in the transformation of the legal profession, and for supporting transactions with public sector customers. Job Responsibility
Assisting legal professionals involved in preparing responses to requests for proposals and negotiating Microsoft contracts for public sector customers (cloud product licensing agreements, associated services agreements, partnership agreements, etc.)
Researching and analyzing legal issues related to Microsoft products and activities (generative artificial intelligence, personal data, competition law, consumer law, etc.)
Assisting in handling consumer complaints (Bing Right to Be Forgotten, exercising right of access requests (GDPR), issues using Microsoft products or services, etc.)
Assisting in improving the Legal Affairs team's internal procedures and resources
Requirements
Master II student or recent graduate in digital law, e-commerce law, or business law, with knowledge of new technology law and personal data law
You must be legally authorized to work in France to be eligible for this position. (Legally authorized = have citizenship or have obtained a valid visa or work permit)
Fluency in English and French (written and oral) is essential
Nice to have
Previous experience in a corporate or law firm preferred
Team player with the ability to integrate into a remote team
Ability to deliver efficient work, respond quickly to unforeseen events, and manage multiple simultaneous requests while meeting deadlines
