Job Responsibility
Contract Management & Advice: Review, draft, and negotiate daily business contracts to safeguard the company's commercial interests
Risk Mitigation & Legal Research (General Litigation): Stay abreast of changing industry laws and regulations to proactively advise management on potential legal exposure
Policy & Governance Development: Shape internal compliance framework by developing, updating, and recommending corporate policies across various business units
Executive Administration: Provide high-level, confidential assistance to the leadership team, managing sensitive documentation, schedules, calls, and travel arrangements
Internal Audits & Training: Spearhead internal compliance audits and conduct regular corporate governance and legal awareness training for staff
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB)
Called to the Malaysian Bar (Advocate & Solicitor)
Proven experience in corporate legal, compliance, or risk management functions (General End-to-end Litigation experience)
Candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
Superior analytical power, impeccable attention to detail for flagging risky business practices, strong organisational skills, and strict adherence to absolute data confidentiality
