Job Description:

Legal Counsel supporting the APAC region, providing general commercial support and playing a critical role in the execution of business strategy in the region. Opportunity to broaden legal expertise and take ownership of important legal projects in an international setting at a fast-growing, tech-driven entertainment company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, terms and conditions
  • Provide legal support to regional business teams and senior management
  • Research legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance
  • Provide corporate management support in the region, including for corporate expansion
  • Stay up to date on relevant legislative and jurisprudence developments in APAC
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to prioritise and manage legal matters
  • Manage knowledge and documents, including the preparation and revision of templates and legal guides
  • Participate in ongoing corporate compliance functions
  • Upskilling, support, and growth of other team members

Requirements:

  • Practising lawyer with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Professional fluency in English is essential
  • Proficiency in an additional language a strong plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • Experience working on international projects or with global teams
  • Team player who is adaptable and eager to learn
