Job Description

As Legal Counsel Corporate, you support the group legal department of a listed company and advise on key corporate and capital markets matters. You work closely with the Management Board, Supervisory Board, and internal stakeholders, accompanying strategically relevant topics from concept to execution. The role is internationally oriented and limited to 18 months as a parental leave cover.

Job Responsibility

  • Advise the Management Board and Supervisory Board on all corporate and capital markets law matters
  • Support capital markets communication and ad hoc disclosures in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide legal support for financing measures at both group and company level
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and capital markets-related reporting obligations
  • Draft, review, and update corporate governance documents, policies, and corporate law documentation
  • Prepare, support, and follow up on Annual General Meetings as well as Management Board and Supervisory Board meetings
  • Advise national and international group entities on general commercial law topics and contribute to the development of compliance structures

Requirements

  • Fully qualified to practise law in Germany with 4–5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house at a listed company or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and capital markets law with practical application experience
  • Experience handling complex legal matters and working with executive and supervisory bodies
  • Fluent English and German skills
  • international experience is an advantage
