Job Description:

Legal Counsel role supporting Fever's operations in Portuguese-speaking jurisdictions, working as business partner with regional business leads to enable Fever's continued growth as leading entertainment platform. Opportunity to broaden legal expertise and exposure to business while taking ownership of important legal projects.

Job Responsibility:

Drafting/revising Portuguese and English language commercial contracts, terms and conditions, RFP submission documentation
Supporting commercial teams in negotiation of deals and documents
Researching legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance
Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors
Participating in knowledge management and operational excellence within Legal
Assisting in ongoing compliance functions and product advice
Upskilling, support, and growth of other team members

Requirements:

Practising lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience working in a Portuguese-speaking jurisdiction
Professional fluency in Portuguese and English essential
Strong communication and collaboration skills with high level of emotional intelligence
Experience working on international projects or with global teams
Team player who is adaptable and eager to learn

Nice to have:

Proficiency in an additional language beyond Portuguese and English
