Job Description:

Part-time legal content editor responsible for proofing factual, compelling, and well-written content for the web, explaining complex legal topics in a web-friendly way for everyday people.

Job Responsibility:

Ensuring the legal accuracy and integrity of blog posts and practice area pages
Review content and ensure that it meets our quality standards

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in English or Communications, but all with writing/editing abilities are welcome to apply)
Juris Doctorate
Bar Certified (not specific to any state)
Time – this position will require you to have adequate bandwidth (about 20-30 hrs/week) dedicated to editorial activities

Nice to have:

Strong writing abilities
Strong editing abilities
High attention to detail
A tendency to take ownership of the task at hand
Efficient
Familiarity with technology, digital platforms, etc.
Openness to innovation (including LLMs)
Flexibility related to process changes as we grow
