Legal professional with experience working on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects to join our growing team at Axiom.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the lead legal advisor for assigned data center development projects
Provide proactive legal guidance throughout all phases of the project lifecycle—from land acquisition, design and construction, to commissioning and operation
Draft, review, and negotiate EPC contracts, design-build agreements, equipment supply contracts, and service-level agreements
Support land acquisition efforts, including due diligence, title review, lease/purchase agreements, and zoning
Coordinate legal input on permitting, environmental impact assessments, and local authority approvals
Negotiate construction-related agreements with general contractors, consultants, and subcontractors
Ensure contracts are aligned with risk management policies, budget targets, and delivery timelines
Monitor and advise on legal and regulatory requirements at local, national, and international levels (e.g., building codes, energy laws, ESG frameworks)
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full legal compliance across the project
Work closely with project managers, procurement, engineering, and finance teams to align legal strategy with business goals
Identify, mitigate, and manage legal risks and disputes throughout project execution
Manage and coordinate external legal advisors, ensuring efficiency and cost control
Participate in vendor due diligence, onboarding, and legal negotiations
Requirements:
A minimum 5+ years’ experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of EPC contracts
Exposure to working on data center projects, regulatory and compliance matters, cross border jurisdiction is an advantage
