Job Description:

Legal professional with experience working on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects to join our growing team at Axiom.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the lead legal advisor for assigned data center development projects
  • Provide proactive legal guidance throughout all phases of the project lifecycle—from land acquisition, design and construction, to commissioning and operation
  • Draft, review, and negotiate EPC contracts, design-build agreements, equipment supply contracts, and service-level agreements
  • Support land acquisition efforts, including due diligence, title review, lease/purchase agreements, and zoning
  • Coordinate legal input on permitting, environmental impact assessments, and local authority approvals
  • Negotiate construction-related agreements with general contractors, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Ensure contracts are aligned with risk management policies, budget targets, and delivery timelines
  • Monitor and advise on legal and regulatory requirements at local, national, and international levels (e.g., building codes, energy laws, ESG frameworks)
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full legal compliance across the project
  • Work closely with project managers, procurement, engineering, and finance teams to align legal strategy with business goals
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage legal risks and disputes throughout project execution
  • Manage and coordinate external legal advisors, ensuring efficiency and cost control
  • Participate in vendor due diligence, onboarding, and legal negotiations

Requirements:

  • A minimum 5+ years’ experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of EPC contracts
  • Exposure to working on data center projects, regulatory and compliance matters, cross border jurisdiction is an advantage
