Currently, we're hiring Financial Services Legal Consultants to join us. Axiom is the global leader in high-caliber, on-demand legal talent. Job Responsibility

  • Working with and advising business clients directly, while providing guidance and practical solutions in relation to banking matters
  • Supporting legal matters, including legal / regulatory advice and contract drafting / reviewing across the spectrum of practice areas within investment banks
  • Analyzing new business initiatives and new products / services from a legal aspect where required
  • Proactively monitor and ensure compliance with domestic and international legal requirements, while promoting compliance culture and awareness within the business

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience within the general banking / regulatory compliance / banking finance areas
  • In-house legal experience is preferred (directly, or as a secondee) though not essential
  • Strong commercial understanding and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders, with a view of providing commercially tailored advice
