We are currently on the lookout for Legal Consultants with Derivatives & Commodities experience to join our ranks and support our F500 clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide legal support to the financial and physical commodities trading activities in the Asia region
  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of trading and risk management documentation, including both framework/master agreements and bespoke transactional contracts
  • Work closely with front office, risk, compliance, operations, and external law firms to deliver coordinated, practical solutions on cross‑border and cross‑product matters, aligning with regional and global legal teams as needed
  • Proactively identify and assess legal, regulatory and reputational risks, collaborating with compliance and risk functions, monitoring relevant legal and regulatory developments, contributing to internal projects, and escalating issues where appropriate

Requirements:

  • 4-8(+) years of transactional legal experience
  • Strong focus on drafting and negotiating derivatives documentation (e.g. master agreements, credit support and collateral arrangements)
  • Experience with derivatives and commodity trading contracts (e.g., power/gas or physical commodities trading documentation)
  • Derivatives experience should form larger part of such experience
