Job Description

We are currently seeking a Legal Consultant with commercial contracts experience to work with our F500 clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Working side by side with the legal and business teams of our F100 clients to provide commercially tailored support
  • Providing practical legal advice on transactional matters while aligning with business goals and initiatives
  • Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and other agreements across various business lines
  • Maintaining and updating documentation with most recent regulatory requirements
  • Working with and advising business clients directly, as well as providing guidance and practical solutions for various corporate policies where required

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 1-4 years’ PQE
  • Familiar with drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts

  • Negotiate strategic agreements for Fuel, Environmental, and Transportation functions
  • Manage junior attorneys on their support of day-to-day contracting needs of the functions
  • Own regulatory interpretation and policy setting for the U.S. business
  • translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable internal standards
  • Monitor regulatory developments and enforcement trends, including new and emerging regulatory areas
