Job Description:

As Legal & Compliance Trainee you will support the development and implementation of compliance tools aimed at identifying and mitigating risks related to key areas such as Anti-Money Laundering, Data Privacy Protection, and External Workforce Compliance. This position offers the opportunity to be actively involved in a variety of legal and compliance activities, including drafting and managing commercial contracts, coordinating with external law firms, supporting notarial procedures, as well as assisting with operational data privacy and information protection tasks. Additionally, the trainee will contribute to the management of the power of attorney system and litigation support, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective legal support for the organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the development of compliance tools to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks related to Anti-Money Laundering, Data Privacy Protection, and External Workforce Compliance
  • Assist in Legal Coordination activities by executing operational legal services, including contract drafting, legal consultations, and coordinating with external law firms, notaries, and attorneys
  • Support the operational activities of the SF2-LA Data Privacy Protection Officer
  • Assist the Information Protection Officer in their operational tasks
  • Support legal activities related to Commercial Finance Contracts, including preparation, modification, signing procedures, notarization, and archiving
  • Assist in drafting, granting, and revoking Powers of Attorney, maintaining the structure and tracking of the SF2-LA’s power of attorney system and related corporate legal matters
  • Support SF2-LA litigation cases, both internal and external
  • Submit information into the Vendor Contract Management System (CCMS), ensuring all required data and documents are accurately and timely submitted

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Law degree or related field
  • Basic understanding of compliance principles, especially in Anti-Money Laundering, Data Privacy, and Workforce Compliance
  • Strong interest in legal coordination, contract management, and compliance activities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • proficiency in additional languages is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Basic knowledge of legal documentation and contract drafting is desirable
  • Familiarity with information protection and data privacy regulations is an advantage
  • Proficient in standard office software and comfortable using digital contract management systems
