We invite accomplished compliance and legal professionals to consider a pivotal role that offers direct exposure to this sophisticated pre-IPO transition.The successful candidate will join a highly sophisticated, structured corporate legal department consisting of 18 dedicated professionals, including four qualified attorneys (Bengoshi). Job Responsibility

  • Design, implement, and oversee robust compliance programs across the group’s extensive international network, focusing on anti-bribery and corruption (ABC) and competition/anti-monopoly laws
  • Act as a key advisory partner to business units, evaluating legal risks associated with new business initiatives and cross-border M&A transactions
  • Establish and refine internal control systems to meet the rigorous governance standards required for public market listing.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of corporate compliance or legal experience (gained within a corporate legal department, audit firm, or law firm)
  • Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 700+ or equivalent) to manage cross-border reporting and global frameworks
  • native or fluent Japanese
  • 5yrs+ experience.
